Arunachaleswarar Tirukoil - one of the biggest and grandest temples in South India
Girivalam - The Holy Mountain of Arunachala rises up with an elevation of 2669 feet (800m). The Road encircling the mountain where devotees circumbulate is 8 1/2 miles which is 14 kms long. On Full Moon days and festival days (like Karthigai, first day of the Tamil month, Tamil New Year day) hundreds of thousands of devotees circumbulate (GIRIVALAM) the mountain and get the blessings of the Lord Arunachala.
Sri Ramana ashram - The Ramanasramam gives us a feeling of being in a hermitage due to its surroundings, flowering trees and peaceful and pristine pure atmosphere. It attracts tourists from all over the world. Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi is widely recognised as the most unique spiritual personality of the 20th Century.
Sri Seshadri Swamigal Asram - Mahan Sri Seshadri Swamigal lived in the late 20th Century. Sri Seshadri Swamigal Ashram is one of the holy places in our Town.
Yogi Ram Surathkumar Ashram - Yogi Ram Surathkumar Ashram, also known as Visiri Samiyar Ashram, is one of the beautiful place in our Town.
Sathanur Dam
Parvathamalai - There's a very powerful Lord Shiva temple at the top of the Parvathamalai hill. Devas and spiritual beings from other lokas worship here every night. This is a place visited by numerous Siddhas for Shiva worship.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Early morning departure by car from Chennai. Check in Hotel, Visit to temple, pooja perform for Arunachaleshwarar then visit to all Ashramas. Night stay at Hotel.
Day 2:
Check out Hotel, way to Parvathamalai and Sathanur Dam. Evening reach at Chennai with wonderful Memories.
