Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple - The temple has Gopuram 38.4 metres tall. Different rulers built the temple as it stands today, at different periods from the 12th century A.D.
Agnitheertham - The water at this place is considered sacred and known as Agni theertham. Pilgrims perform poojas in honour of their ancestors at this seashore.
Satchi Hanuman Temple
Devipattinam – Navagraha inside the Sea.
Bamban Bridge – An open able part of Railway Bridge over 2345 meters of sea
Dhanushkodi - It is said that Pilgrimage to Kashi will be completed only after the worship at Rameswaram besides a holy bath in Dhanushkodi at the Confluence of Mahodadhi (Bay of Bengal) and Ratnakara (Indian Ocean).
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Starting from Chennai to Rameshwaram by Evening Train.
Day 2:
Reaching Rameshwaram at early morning. Check in to Hotel. Visit to Temple, Bathe in Agnitheertham, perform pooja for Ramanathaswamy. Evening Aarthi Darshan. Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 3:
Check out Hotel and way to Devipattinam and Dhanushkodi and return to railwaystation.
Day 4:
Reaching at Chennai with wonderful memories.
